There’s something so fun about looking back at the pieces you loved most each month. Sometimes the list is exactly what I expected: a great pair of linen pants, an easy summer dress, a polished blazer. And sometimes? You all surprise me.

June’s reader favorites were a perfect little snapshot of summer life: swimsuits, linen layers, easy shorts, denim, polished blazers, and — plot twist — a mattress and pillow. Apparently, we all want to look chic and sleep like we have no responsibilities. Honestly? Same.

So today, I’m sharing the ten items Style at a Certain Age readers loved most in June. Consider this your monthly style report card. These pieces earned the clicks, the interest, and a spot on the list.

What You’ll Find in This Post

These June reader favorites are the items that received the most love from the Style at a Certain Age community. The list includes summer fashion staples, linen pieces, swimwear, denim, sleep essentials, and polished wardrobe workhorses that make getting dressed — and apparently getting a good night’s sleep — a little easier.

1. Lands’ End Women’s Tugless Midkini Top and High Waisted Bottom Swimsuit Set

Let’s start with the swimsuit, because clearly we are not messing around when it comes to summer.

The Lands’ End Women’s Tugless Midkini Top and High Waisted Bottom Swimsuit Set was your number one reader favorite in June, and I understand why. A good swimsuit has to do a lot. It needs to stay put, flatter the body, offer coverage where we want it, and still feel stylish.

That is not a small job description.

Why readers loved it:

  • The high-waisted bottom feels classic and flattering.
  • The midkini top gives more coverage than a traditional bikini.
  • It’s practical for pool days, beach trips, and vacations.
  • Lands’ End is known for dependable swimwear that works for real life.

Style tip:

Add a crisp white cover-up, flat sandals, oversized sunglasses, and a tote. Done. Chic poolside without looking like you packed for a reality show villa.

2. Helix ComfortAdjust Cooling Pillow

Coming in at number two: the Helix ComfortAdjust Cooling Pillow. And I have to say, I love that this made the list.

Because yes, we love a pretty dress. But we also love waking up without feeling like we wrestled a raccoon all night.

A good pillow can make all the difference, especially in the summer when staying cool at night becomes an Olympic sport.

Why readers clicked:

  • It’s designed for cooling comfort.
  • It can be adjusted for personal preference.
  • It works with different sleep styles.
  • It feels like a practical upgrade readers can use every single night.

Why it makes sense:

June is the month when we start thinking about lighter bedding, cooler sleep, and making the bedroom feel calm and comfortable. A cooling pillow fits right into that summer reset.

3. Twilight Luxe Mattress

The Twilight Luxe Mattress landed at number three, and this one comes with a real-life endorsement. My friend Lisa spent the night on this mattress and gave it two thumbs up.

And let’s be honest: a houseguest who wakes up happy is better than any marketing copy.

A mattress is one of those purchases that doesn’t feel glamorous at first, but it impacts everything. Sleep, energy, mood, posture, patience — all the important things. Including whether or not we have the strength to put on real pants.

Why readers were interested:

  • A good mattress is a long-term comfort investment.
  • The luxe design feels like an upgrade.
  • It works beautifully for a primary bedroom or guest room.
  • A personal recommendation makes it easier to trust.

Beth’s note:

When someone actually sleeps on a mattress and gives it two thumbs up, I pay attention. Especially when that someone is a friend who would absolutely tell me the truth.

4. Faherty Topanga Drape Shorts

The Faherty Topanga Drape Shorts are exactly the kind of summer piece that makes sense in June. Easy, relaxed, and polished enough to wear beyond the backyard.

Shorts can be tricky. Too short, too stiff, too casual, too “I gave up.” The sweet spot is a pair that feels comfortable but still has shape and intention.

Why readers loved them:

  • The drape gives them an elevated feel.
  • They’re casual without looking sloppy.
  • They work with tees, button-downs, linen tops, and lightweight sweaters.
  • They’re perfect for warm-weather weekends.

How I’d style them:

Pair them with a white tee or linen shirt, flat sandals, and a straw or leather tote. Add gold hoops and you’ve got an easy summer outfit that still looks pulled together.

5. Chico’s Linen-Blend Metallic Striped Dress

The Chico’s Linen-Blend Metallic Striped Dress feels like a classic June favorite: breezy, pretty, and ready for dinner, vacation, or a summer gathering.

A linen-blend dress is one of those pieces that instantly makes summer dressing easier. The metallic stripe adds just enough interest without shouting across the room.

Why it works:

  • The linen blend feels seasonal and breathable.
  • The stripe adds polish and texture.
  • It can be dressed up or down.
  • It’s one-and-done dressing, which is a gift when it’s hot outside.

Style tip:

Keep the accessories simple. Try metallic sandals, a neutral clutch or tote, and delicate jewelry. The dress already has personality, so let it do the talking.

6. Quince 100% European Linen Jacket

The Quince 100% European Linen Jacket came in at number six, and this is exactly the kind of summer layer I love.

A linen jacket gives structure without the weight of a traditional blazer. It’s perfect for women who want to look polished but still feel comfortable in warm weather.

Why readers loved it:

  • It’s made from 100% European linen.
  • It adds instant structure to summer outfits.
  • It works with dresses, pants, denim, and shorts.
  • It feels elevated without being fussy.

How I’d wear it:

Layer it over a tank with wide-leg linen pants, or throw it over a simple dress when you want a little more polish. It’s also a great travel piece because it can make basics look intentional.

7. Talbots Open Stitch Crewneck Sweater

The Talbots Open Stitch Crewneck Sweater is one of those pieces that makes sense for cool mornings, air-conditioned restaurants, and breezy evenings.

Summer sweaters are underrated. They add texture, soften an outfit, and give you that casual-but-polished look we all love.

Why it made the list:

  • The open stitch feels light and seasonal.
  • The crewneck silhouette is classic.
  • It works with shorts, white denim, linen pants, or skirts.
  • It adds texture without bulk.

Outfit formula:

Open stitch sweater + white jeans + flat sandals + woven tote = summer classic.

And yes, this is exactly the kind of piece you’ll reach for when the restaurant has the air conditioning set to “meat locker.”

8. Famous Denim EILEEN RUFFLE Vintage Stonewashed Indigo

The Famous Denim EILEEN RUFFLE Vintage Stonewashed Indigo is a fun one because denim is always a reader favorite, but the ruffle detail gives it a little personality.

A denim shirt is one of those wardrobe pieces that works year-round. In summer, it’s great with white jeans, linen pants, or shorts. Later, it layers beautifully under blazers, sweaters, and jackets.

Why readers clicked:

  • Denim is timeless.
  • The ruffle detail adds a feminine twist.
  • The vintage stonewashed indigo feels relaxed and wearable.
  • It can be styled casually or dressed up.

Style tip:

Pair it with white wide-leg pants and sandals for a crisp summer look. Or wear it open over a tank with linen shorts for a more casual weekend outfit.

9. Quince 100% European Linen Pants

The Quince 100% European Linen Pants are a summer wardrobe hero. No surprise they made the list.

Wide-leg linen pants are comfortable, flattering, and endlessly versatile. They give you the ease of casual dressing but still look polished enough for lunch, travel, dinner, or a day of errands.

Why readers loved them:

  • They’re made from 100% European linen.
  • The wide-leg silhouette feels modern and comfortable.
  • They can be styled casually or elevated.
  • They pair beautifully with tanks, button-downs, sweaters, and jackets.

How I’d wear them:

Try them with a simple tank and the Quince linen jacket for a chic summer set. Or pair them with the Talbots open stitch sweater and sandals for an easy coastal-inspired look.

10. Talbots Stretch Linen Blazer

Rounding out the top ten is the Talbots Stretch Linen Blazer, and this is such a smart wardrobe piece.

A linen blazer is one of my favorite ways to look polished in the summer without feeling overdressed. The stretch makes it even more wearable, especially when you’re moving through a real day — errands, lunch, travel, meetings, dinner, all of it.

Why it belongs on the list:

  • It adds polish instantly.
  • The linen keeps it seasonal.
  • The stretch makes it comfortable.
  • It works with dresses, denim, trousers, and shorts.

Style tip:

Wear it with linen pants for a monochromatic look, toss it over a dress, or pair it with denim and a tee. A blazer is still one of the easiest ways to make an outfit look finished.

Final Thoughts on June’s Reader Favorites

What I love about this month’s list is how practical it is. These aren’t pieces that live in the back of the closet waiting for a fantasy occasion. They’re useful, wearable, and designed for real life.

June’s top ten tells me you were shopping for summer ease: a flattering swimsuit, cool sleep essentials, linen layers, comfortable shorts, denim with personality, and polished pieces that make getting dressed simpler.

And honestly? That sounds like a very good June to me.

Now I want to know: which reader favorite would you wear — or try — first? Let me know in the comments.

I purchased the red linen blazer from Talbots and love it. I have several linen blazers, but didn’t have one in red and thought I needed on for the 250 celebration of our country. I also bought another pair of linen pants, but I think from JCrew. They are at the tailor getting shortened.
Like the denim shirt from JMcLaughlin also.
